Serre Chevalier is a large valley in the Hautes Alpes open to the south of France, between the Col du Lautaret and Briançon

where several villages and hamlets are scattered, from the most modern to the most authentic.

The Serre Chevalier area, at the gates of the Ecrins National Park, is recognized as the largest ski area in the Southern Alps and areas in Europe, spread out between 1500 and 2800 meters above sea level. It connects the 4 villages of Monêtier les Bains, Villeneuve, Chantemerle and Briançon, adapts to all levels of skiing,

from expert to beginner, and invites you to ski between larch forests and snow-capped peaks.

You can indulge in all the joys of skiing: 410 hectares of marked ski area with 59 ski lifts and 82 trails, fun areas for thrilling skiing, protected areas for family skiing in complete serenity, natural areas with many activities on offer, picnic areas at altitude….

SUMMER IN SERRE CHEVALIER

In summer, many outdoor and nature activities await you: walks at altitude in complete freedom or on landscaped trails, mountain biking, downhill and enduro, giant zip line from the Grand Serre at an altitude of 2491 m, mountain kart and downhill scooters on specially equipped trails, the marmot camp for young mountaineers, but also paragliding and via ferrata.

You can also enjoy the many cultural and leisure activities on offer: guided heritage tours, access to the media library, exhibitions, as well as numerous events.
